  Cakes are nice, coffee is ok. The food..... the salad was unwashed, we asked for a side, the waiter was kind enough to get some of the fried potatoes for us, that was a mistake. They where cooked in pig fat, inedible. When asked the person when paying if the salad was washed, no apology was offered. She was quite blunt in answering. I won't be back.

  It's always reliable at Cloudehill. It attracts a more mature clientele, but the food is delicious, the surroundings are delightful and you can visit the gardens and the nursery after your meal. A nice local venue.
